I was looking for a glass cover to use in the microwave. My previous covers have all been a hard plastic which I’ve learned can be toxic when they tend yo melt and come in contact with your food. This cover is dinner plate size but it balances over smaller plates and bowls without a problem. Great quality glass product. It’s heavier than I expected. I’ve dropped it several times, so it seems durable. I hand wash/rinse after each use but can be easily placed in the dishwasher. Good handle that is easy to grip. Good value

REPLACED PLASTIC WITH GLASS - I decided to replace a years-old plastic microwave splatter guard with this glass one b/c I was worried about BPAs in the old plastic possibly getting into food. This cover is beautiful and well-made. It covers a standard dinner plate and is large enough to cover a 12" All Clad saute pan or a 2.5 quart LeCrueset casserole (handy because you can't see through the LeCrueset cover). I was surprised at how heavy it is - 2 pounds 13 oz on my kitchen scale. Because of the weight, I wouldn't want to store it on a high shelf, so I keep it in my toaster oven where it fits easily and works well. Overall, it is a nice, quality cover with two steam vents on top. It is easy to clean. I have hand-washed it, and the instructions say it is dishwasher-safe. The handle is cushioned and doesn't get hot. It's a little heavier than I would have liked, but that is a trade-off for the sturdiness. I am pleased and would recommend it.

Best microwave cover. No more messes to clean Big size covers almost every dish. Cleans easily by hand or in dishwasher. Rubber handle stays cool. Made of thick glass so no plastic particles in your food. Only reason for the 4 stars is that it’s pretty heavy.

The glass itself is solid and no complaints. But the silicone handle on top split right though.

Love it. Glass is preferable to plastic any day. It is wide enough to cover large plates and is quite heavy.It cleans easily.

We have used multiple different glasswork covers to protect the interior of the microwave, and to keep plates covered and warm after heating. The Bezrat Kitchenware cover is by far the best. We have had no problems with chipping or breakage, as with other covers. The fact that the cover is vented is a huge plus. Additionally, the cover is extremely easy to clean so that it is ready and available for the next use; a simple hand wash/rinse with water and a drop of dish soap does the job.
