Not for Vampires!
These are a pretty decent thickness of aluminum so unless you have them dipped in holy water, they won't work for that. Instead, they make excellent stakes for tents, tarps, and anything else you want to secure to the ground. However, be warned, that like any other aluminum stake, rocks tend to be harder than aluminum, so if you insist on hammering this little guy into oblivion, regardless of how much it fights, it will succumb to the rock, just like it's cousin, the scissors. OH, and here's another tip, if the ground is sandy, bury it sideways. It's not fun chasing down your cohorts wayward tent down an unfamiliar landscape.

Fast shipping, good quality
These shipped very fast and they are very good quality stakes, would recommend for minimalists as they are very lightweight and not bulky

Great Lightweight Tent Stakes 👍
These are some great lightweight tent stakes... especially considering the price. I use them primarily for guying out my ultralight tarp tent and they have functioned perfectly for that specific use. They are the ideal length and design to hold well in a variety of situations. They've held my tarp securely in high winds and wet soil from torrential downpours. The reflective pull cord is a nice touch for making them easy to see at night, as well as for easy removal when it's time to pack up camp. I've also used them to replace the stakes that came with a couple of my freestanding lightweight tents due to their superior holding ability vs the stakes that came with those particular tents. Overall, these are some great lightweight stakes that are worth the money (especially compared to similar ones that cost far more). Fair price, easy to use, lightweight, durable... what more can you ask for 👍

Cheap and very durable - depending on the user..
Bought these quite a while ago and im here again to buy more. Figured I'd leave a review bc I see that several people claim that they bend and break. They are aluminum. They are not thick. I beat mine into the ground with a hatchet/hammer combo (one of the most useful camp tools I've ever owned. Iykyk). And ofc I've broken these in the past which is why I need more. But that's not the products fault. If you understand aluminum you'll understand that uncentered hits and impacts will bend it. But if you take proper care of these, they will do you a lot of good.Assuming proper use -These stakes hold in the ground better than any I've ever used. I always place them at a right angle to the force pulling on them and wow, they create an excellent hold. They also allow you to hammer them in flush with the ground, so you won't injure yourself tripping or stepping on them, which if you camp enough, you know is a huge risk. The little cord loop they come with is fine for a while, but I've replaced all of mine with aluminum aircraft cable loops I've made for cheap at home depot. That removes all negative aspects of these stakes for me. Some how, when placed in packed earth, these stakes hold well so even if you're pulling them straight out from how you placed them, they really don't want to come out. Which is where I usually break the original cord. All in all, these stakes fulfill all my needs and I even trust them to hold my tarp when I use it as a wind break on the side of a mountain. The way I tie guy lines allows me to tension my lines to a ridiculous amount, and I worry about ripping my gear before I worry about these stakes lossing their hold. Buy these, and buy a way to hammer them into the ground. You won't regret it

Nice stakes, but are not 12" long.
They are well made. They are NOT however 12" long as advertised. There were two choices, 7" and 12". I ordered 12", got 7". No time to return them, I will use them as is.
