I purchased this DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI while my wife was on vacation because I wanted to keep our home clean without the hassle of hiring a maid. Between my demanding job and limited free time, I needed an automated solution, and this robot vacuum has doing a wonderful job for me.The setup was straightforward, though I did spend some time mapping our house to ensure optimal navigation. Once that was done, the vacuum took over effortlessly. I schedule cleanings overnight, so I wake up every morning to spotless floors no more worrying about dust or dirt piling up. The 18,000Pa suction power is impressive, easily handling both carpets and hard floors, while the mopping function leaves tiles gleaming.What really sets this robot apart is its self-cleaning system. The hot water mop washing ensures deep sanitization, and the automatic solution dispensing and hot air-drying keeps everything hygienic and ready for the next use. The self-emptying dustbin is another huge plus, minimizing maintenance.Yes, it’s pricey, but the convenience and performance make it worth every penny. If you’re looking for a hands-off way to maintain a clean home, look no further. My wife will be thrilled to come back to such a tidy house thanks to this little robotic helper!

The media could not be loaded. This is truly the upper echelon of robot vacuums. Ecovacs has done an immaculate job of improving on the T30 version of the vacuum. There are so many small things changes and configurations that set this vacuum apart from others. I have three dogs, hardwood floors, tile, and carpet rugs so I run this vacuum every single day. I'll break down my thoughts below.SETUPSetup is extremely easy - only needing to attach the base piece to the station and plug it in. For the vacuum just snap the small brush on. The app setup is really easy as well - scan the QR code on the vacuum and follow the steps in the Ecovacs app.VACUUMThe most important question for any robot vacuum is does it do what it should, and how well. The vacuum delivers on all levels. This is one of the few vacuums that I feel does a great job on standard suction and you don't have to use turbo suction (which saves battery). I primarily have tile and hardwood floors with a few small rugs, so I can't speak to carpet too much.This vacuum has a small extender for the corner brush that does a great job of getting hard to reach areas.MOPThis is another area where they have done a lot of improvement. There is a roller brush that does a great job of mopping hardwood floors. The mop extends out to get all the way to the end of walls really well.PITCREW (Station)The docking station makes everything a breeze. The dust bag is larger, the water tanks are bigger, and they have added a cleaning solution tank to automatically add floor cleaner to the water. I haven't had any issues at all and love everything about it! The water tank lasts about 2 weeks using it frequently. The dust bag lasts about a month for me. I have 2 dogs that shed so that is pretty good.APP / MAPPINGNot to be repetitive, but this is another area where they have made a lot of improvements. The app does everything you expect, but I'll highlight a few things:If the robot ever gets stuck the robot will mark the map and recommend where to add barriers to prevent getting stuck again. After a few runs it no longer gets stuck. The app has some great settings like the option to force the robot to go vacuum if the water tank is empty (when it is supposed to mop and vac).There is an option in the app to vacuum carpet/rugs first, then vac and mop everything else. This is nice since sometimes the mop will get rugs damp.You can also set rug suction boost OR reduce sensitivity so it doesn't suck up thin rugs and drag them due to strong suction.There are also nice option to reduce noise like have the vacuum sit lower to the floor, and even reduce dust collection power at the station so it isn't too loud.FINAL THOUGHTSThis review is already really long so I'll end it there, but I am so impressed by so many small things about this vacuum that I can't list everything. It really goes above and beyond in adding so many small customizations that are provide a solution to small complaints about other vacuums. Although expensive it is absolutely worth every penny.

The media could not be loaded. I am sooooo in LOOOOVVEEEE with my new ecovacs robot vac! I never dreamed it would be this easy to get my floors absolutely clean. Not only does it sweep and mop, but I can see all the different areas on my app and customize where I want it to clean!I love that it cleans and dries the mop pad automatically! I was kind of worried about it getting mold or mildew but it's not a problem because it takes care of it itself!This thing is heavy duty too! it can climb over my thresholds and rugs, and has no problem determining what is carpet and what is not. The app is so simple to use too - especially setting up different area on the map.I have saved 2 different maps already, and designated the different rooms on them. I can tell it to sweep the bedrooms, or mop the kitchen, etc. etc.It works with my home controls too - which is so neat. And I can change the suction controls so if I need a quick job or deep clean, it's all in the app.The mapping on this unit is much better than my old brand (which shall remain unnamed). I will never go back!!!

I’ve had the ECOVACS DEEBOT T50 PRO Omni for about a week and overall, I’m super impressed. With two kids our floors are constantly a mess, and this thing honestly makes life easier. The suction is crazy strong—it picks up everything from crumbs to long hair without any trouble. It also fits under our furniture, which is great because I used to have to manually sweep under the couch all the time.The mopping feature is where it really shines. It scrubs pretty well, and the fact that it washes and dries the mop pads by itself? Total game-changer. The self-emptying dustbin is another win—I barely have to touch the thing outside of refilling the clean water and dumping the dirty tank every few days. It also does a good job navigating around furniture and most of the toys my kids leave around.Now for the cons. The base station is huge. It works well, but it takes up a good chunk of space. You need to find the right spot for it. Also, while the obstacle avoidance is pretty good, it still gets stuck on thin cords like phone chargers or small headphone wires. So I’ve learned to keep those off the floor before a cleaning run. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but it’s something to be aware of. Lastly, it’s pricey. But considering how hands-off it is and how well it performs, I do think it’s worth it if you’re ready to invest.
