I used this for a blu-ray disc player that had no remote. Works like a charm.

The title says it all

I have an LG Bp340 Blu-ray Disc Player. I have bought more than one replacement remote for this player, because I adopted a rescue dog that eats remotes and my family has been inconsistent about storing remotes beyond her reach. Each remote order has arrived quickly by mail, with individual remotes wrapped in bubble wrap. After the battery is installed, these remotes immediately control all functions on my LG unit - which is terrific, because the unit is not really useful without a remote.

I bought this to replace our original remote for our DVD/Bluray player that got lost in a move. It functions great and worked right out of the packaging. My only wish is that it was a little bigger (and that's just personal opinion as I'm sure some love the tiny size), because in our house it's always getting buried under couch cushions or blankets. But it's a nice product that does it's job.

Worked on my LG blu ray player right out of the box!!! (My standard poodle ate the other one...)Anyway, I just grabbed it and hit power and play and started my video.

The product gets 5 stars for being exactly what I needed and because it works. However the dvd player I needed it for was only $60 and this remote was $25. A little pricey if you ask me.

Just put in batteries, aim, and go. No set up required as long as you have a device that it is compatible with. The “Enter” button in my last one stopped working shortly after getting the Blu-Ray player. THAT’S THE MOST IMPORTANT BUTTON. So, I got a new one. Hope this one doesn’t break too.
