My toddler LOVES any book by Eric Carle, but the Very Hungry Caterpillar is by far his favorite. I was so pleased with how many different magnets this set came with.The set comes with several different backgrounds to use with the magnets. Thanks to the amount of magnets in addition to the different backgrounds, this kept my toddler busy for quite a while. I love that it all fits neatly in the carrying case.The magnets have held up very well since purchasing. This is a toy we will likely keep in our rotation for a long time.

Excellent for an Eric Carle fan! My four year old loves all the magnets with characters from her favorite stories.

Great quality, great variety of pieces.. but missing some key pieces for The Very Hungry Caterpillar story- which it is advertised for. So far my 2 year old grandson asked for.. the egg, watermelon, sausage, Swiss cheese salami. He knows this story start to finish! The other pieces are awesome.. numbers, other animals, etc.. but my suggestion is to ensure that all characters from the advertised story are included. Still thrilled with this purchase! Great quality and storage case.

Great puzzles

We love Eric Carle, and this set is great because it has magnets for many of his books, not just the Hungry Caterpillar. My two year old likes to play with the magnets on the refrigerator more than the magnetic boards but she loves it!

My son is obsessed with the hungry caterpillar so this toy was a hit! You can see his little wheels turning when playing it. I love the little scenes he can change up and it’s also great for learning colors & numbers.

If your child knows and loves Eric Carle books, this is a must buy! Our granddaughter recreates the stories and makes up new stories with the pictures! So cute!
